| Thursday, November 3, 2022 An FAA NOTAM/TFR has been issued for San Diego, CA and the surrounding areas for Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. PDT through Friday, November 4, 2022 at 2:15 p.m. PDT. The TFR was issued for VIP movement in the area. Outdoor radio control model aircraft operations are prohibited within a 30 nm radius for the specific times listed below. Control Line and Free Flight modelers should use discretion when operating within the TFR. Please note that TFRs are subject to change with very short notice. Due to predicted excessive heat this Saturday, Pylon Races and the raffle are postponed until Saturday October 1st.We’ll still hold a brief club meeting 9am this Saturday at the field.

FINALLY, as of TODAY (MAY 1), County Parks has released the key restrictions that allow us to re-open the field!
The gate combination has been reset to allow member access.
The key piece was parking lots, previously being closed. Now, “Beginning May 1, parking lots at most County-managed parks and preserves will open at 50 percent capacity.”
Our parking capacity is well over 100 cars, so we’re covered.
Bottom Line on Procedures:
- Stay 6′ apart, or put on your face covering. You must have a face cover on your person at all times.
- The bathroom must be sanitized at least every two hours. So if you use it, wipe down what you touch. We’ll provide sani-wipes or spray cleaner.
This Sunday morning, starting at 8am, we’ll work an catching up on over-growth until maybe 9am.
If you have a weed-whacker and/or a weed sprayer, please come by. Our club weed-wacker is on the mend, so the more whackers, the better. Fill your sprayer with water; we have the herbicide and a few extra gallons of water at the field.
Jeff and I will be there around 7am to replace the mower blades, so if you’re an early bird, come join us.
